Display create new post on a frontend page for logged in users?

  • I want to let my users post on the frontend of my site using a create new post page or even a popup (basically I am wanting my wordpress create new post to just display in full on a page rather than the wordpress dashboard… I know there are a few plugins for this but they are very limited as no media libabry or options to set featured image or post template. Also is it possible to limit the media libary just to show the users personal media libabry instead of the full site?

    I would sleep alot easier if I was just using wordpress built in functions to do this rather than using a plugin.. that way I know that it is as secure as it can be.

    any functions like get footer which you can place in a page template that will fetch the forms and stuff (all with validation added) directly from the create new post dashboard editor??

    Im looking for something like this too. Would be so useful but need it super secure and just use wordpress core features.
