Display data on TV in auto shop..using WP as backend

    Hello,

    I wanna throw a few data on a TV screen in my workshop using wordpress, specifically i wanna show the jobs waiting, the job assigned and to what technician, the time they have to accomplish this eg 2 hours, 3 hours etc and i want this to be real time so when i make or edit a entry in the WP dashboard it displays on the screen almost immediately.

    The display will be color coded for say working jobs, waiting jobs etc…

    Now is this possible with WordPress ?

    You can make changes to data in WordPress and it can show immediately afterwards on the live website.

    I dont want to refresh the wordpress front page that will be on the TV display…..so i want when i publish in the backend dashboard ideally i want it to refresh immeditely without someone refreshing the front end so the tv screen updates immediately…..so when you say make changes to data what exactly do you mean…

    That’s a technological aspect separate to WordPress. It’s called ajax. It’s entirely possible in WordPress.

    Oh i got you…let me look into it…thanks a lot…let me see if i can create a Autoshop CRM with wordpress unless you know any in the marketplace?
