Display entries using a specific custom field value

Hi, I’m currently working on a Newspaper site which is running in a test platform now
(User:setman494, password:uQBL4F1p).

To put you into context: I’m building a the newspaper library, where you would be able to download the pdf version of the printed edition. For this library I created a new custom post type (CPT) called “hemeroteca” (“library”) with three custom taxonomies (‘Year’, ‘Month’ and ‘Issue number’) so I can easily filter them with a third party filter plugin (see here).

In the CPT single page (here), I would also like to render published articles related to that specific issue number. How would be the best way to achieve that? I didn’t really figure out the logic behind yet. I thought about adding an extra “issue number” custom field to the normal entry posts but don’t really know how to connect it to the “issue number” taxonomy of the CPT I created… Anyway, just fyi, I’m building everything with Elementor.

Any hint?
