Display Event Category Description in Single-Page View

    I would like to display the Event Category Description in “the content” of an event in single-page view.

    I am setting up a site for a gym that has recurring classes. I think the easiest way to add a description to each individual event would be to add a single description to each Event Category, then place the events in their respective categories.

    However, I cannot find any documentation about how to display the Event Category Description!

    Hi pshay92,

    Most themes do not show the description of WP categories by default. You can probably do it with some customization, but that isn’t something we can help with. As outlined in our forum guidelines, we aren’t able to help with these kinds of customizations. But we do have some handy resources that might be helpful for you:

    You might also get in touch with your theme’s developer and see if they have any suggestions for showing the category’s description.
