• Hi,

I use your plugin for a while now and I really like it. I needed an Events plugin that creates a Buddypress tab to display the events a user is attending and it works great, so first, thank you for your amazing work.

    Now for the tricky part.
Is there a way to display this list of events a user is attending anywhere else than in the said Buddypress tab?

I’m creating a Collaboration section where Artists (photographes, film makers, make up artists, etc) can create a post to talk about the services they provide so other users can contact them for photoshoots, meeting at conventions and other stuff.
I’d like to add a section to their single post in which the events they will attend is displayed.

Is there any way to achieve that? Since they will be the author of the post, I assume it would work the same way as in the Buddypress tab. I don’t need any fancy design, the basic tab list is ok, I can customize it with CSS the same way I did for the rest. I don’t even need it to be linked to the event post (would be better if possible but not a mandatory functionnality), just the list would do.

Thank you for time and help!

    Hi,

Thank you for the nice words!

    1. you can use the shortcode [my_bookings] on your WP page or post

    2. you can also set WP page as my-bookings page under events > settings > pages > other pages > my bookings page

    Hi Angelo,

    Thank you for your response.

However, the shortcode [my_bookings] displays the events the logged-in user will be attending and that’s not what I meant.

I need the reader to be able to see the events that the post author will be attending, like when you go to another user’s profile and see the list of the events they will attend.

Thank you again for your help.

    Hello,
Seems this is a custom feature, so you need to add separate coding for this. Add custom short code and get the event author events and display them.

    Hi chathuripxl,

    Thank you for your help.
It’s still not what I’m looking for though.

The events I want to display are not the events a user would create but the events they booked and will be attending. My users are not allowed to create events, but they can book any of the event I create.

What I want is the exact same thing as in the Events tab generated by Events Manager, under My Bookings. There you see the list of the events the user has booked, not the ones they created. The difference is that it has to get the author ID of a post, not the user ID as in the Buddypress profile.

    Thank you for time!
