The plugin is amazing! I managed to view the feed on a seperate page.

However, I would like to display this at the bottom of my homepage and not as a seperate page. How do I do that?

  • Hey maylijewels,

I will assume when you say “at the bottom of my homepage” you are referring to seeing it in a footer/footer column?

    If so then:

    1. Go to your WordPress Dashboard – Appearance – Widgets
    2. Add a text widget to your footer.
    3. Add your shortcode to your text widget.
    4. Save the widget and the feed should show up where-ever your widget is set to display within your page. This could be the footer, a footer column or a sidebar.

If I misinterpreted your question then please provide a bit more detail.

    Hi David!

I was able to navigate the widget.

However, it is showing the actual text now instead of the feed!

    What am I doing wrong?

    Hey maylijewels,

Without viewing the site it would be hard to say where the “mis-step” or issue might be but I am happy to assist further in helping you out.

Can I have you submit a support request on this page here since this is an open forum and some of the information I need from you to determine the cause involves data that you might not want to share publicly as it relates to your plugin’s settings.

When you are submitting the support request make sure you include your plugin’s System Info which can be found by going to your WordPress Dashboard – Instagram Feed – Support (tabbed page) – copy all the data within the “System Info” box and then paste it in your support request at the link provided. Then just mention that you are trying to get the feed to show in your footer. We’ll take it from there.
