Display first 25 words of excerpt on index page

    My work in progress website is https://www.projektblog.info.

    I want to display only the first 25 words (or 4 lines or first paragraph) of the excerpt text on the first page.

    Does anyone know how to do this?

    Current code is:

    <?php the_excerpt(); ?>

    Appreciate your help!
