Display galleries randomly in album

Is it possible to have the galleries randomly displayed instead of the order they are placed in the album?
I found a thread sometime back that had some code something like ‘[album id=15 template=extend order=random]’ but it didn’t work.
Is there a way to achieve this?Also, can it be used with GD Star Rating plugin to display the galleries by ratings?
