Display header image in hero area of posts?

  • Hi,

    We would like to have the header image of this site display in the hero area of individual posts, and the featured image for that post display below that (in the normal post area). Is that possible? or is there no way to change how the default is to use the post’s featured image as the hero image?

    Hi @bonnie447,

    Not out of the box, no. You’d have to make some pretty substantial changes in a child theme to have that happen, and the changes are a bit too large for me to walk them through step by step here. You can also hire a developer to do it for you, of course.
