    Hi my name is hunter I am the lead dev to courtships.net and we were using “youzify” plug in to customize our buddy press profiles and user navigation we were originally working with buddy builder but their plugin was very out of date, and was non functional as the navigation menus were not functional, our design and development team have decided to use this plugin however we are encountering an issue that we cannot solve. All of the menus icons along with the profile picture is on the side of the page and the layout we had picked with the plugin is not displaying we have checked compatibility on our site, we disabled only one that was not compatible as it wasn’t relevant to our site anyway all plugins on our site that are currently enabled are compatible as far as we know from this plugins documentation.     Please follow the next to identify the issue:

    • Make sure you are using the most updated versions of Youzify, WordPress & your theme.
    • Deactivate all of your plugins. If this solves the problem, gradually activate your plugins one by one, until you spot the problematic plugin.
    • If you have a caching plugin, make sure you deactivate it, or even better – purge the cache.
    • Change your WordPress theme to WordPress TwentySeventeen (or other default WordPress theme).
    • On your WordPress root folder, edit the wp-config.php and set the value of WP-DEBUG to true.

    If you have followed all these steps and identify the issue, please let me know.

    We have tried all these things and the issue still persists, we tried enabling the debug but that did not do anything all that we got was a white screen couldn’t access the site anymore, given that this plugin doesn’t seem to work we not think we’re going to use it, which is unfortunate it had some nice features,

    Youzift version: 3.3.8. word press version: 6.6.2.

    In the image that’s all we were able to get it to do even after clearing cache turning off all the plugins and turning it back on this is all we could get, and also switching to another theme, it always shows this, we’re not sure why

    Please update your Youzify to the 3.5.4 version. Since 3.3.8 we fixed many bugs. You can download the newest version on your Envato user dashboard.

    Ok thank but im unable to update to that version as the version downloaded from your site is: 3.3.8 and the one on WordPress plugins is also: 3.3.8, I can’t really find anywhere to download the latest version, and we’re not sure what Envato user dashboard is.

    The Pro version can only be purchased on Envato and is a lifetime update. If you have ever purchased it, you should be able to find the updated file. Kindly check this article.

    We were using the free version, so do we have to buy to update the latest version?

    In the previous reply, you said that you are using 3.3.8 version. That’s a Pro version that only sold on Envato. So I assumed that you have purchased it officially on Envato. If you have purchased it, so you can download the newest version (3.5.4) at no cost.

    The last update of the Free version is 1.3.1 which you can download for free in this WordPress directory.

    we have the free one from wordpress plugins, when we get it and update it, it only updates to 3.3.8 and not any higher. So do we need to buy the pro version to update to 3.5.4 to fix the bugs that we are having with the free one?.

    Why should we have to buy the pro version, if the free version does not work and it’s the latest version of the free one. Then how do we know if the pro version will actually work, have you figured out what the problem was with it.

    As you mentioned, you are using “3.3.8 version”, which is a Pro version of Youzify. This version is only available on Envato Market and is not the same as our 100% free version, which can be downloaded from www.ads-software.com. The free version is currently at version 1.3.1 and does offer a more limited set of features.

    To clarify, the Pro version 3.3.8 was officially released last year and was compatible with older versions of WordPress and BuddyPress at that time. Since then, we’ve made significant updates and improvements to the Pro version, fixing many bugs and enhancing compatibility with the latest WordPress and BuddyPress versions. The current Pro version is 3.5.4 and is fully compatible with the latest releases.

    If you are experiencing issues, an alternative solution would be to replace your current version with the free version available here on www.ads-software.com. However, please keep in mind that the features in the free version are limited compared to the Pro version.

    ok after some investigating we discovered what the problem was, it was with our theme contacted them to let them know what the issue was, when we would download the free version it would ask us to update it the latest version for compatibility when we would do that it would give us version 3.3.8 which is the pay diversion but we did not pay for it so it wouldn’t load right, so solution was just not updating the plugin when it’s installed, what you doing so keeps it the free version, now that we’ve identified what the issue was you’re very happy with your plug and we will be buying it in the future but as of right now we’re going to be using the free version for now, thank you so much for your support and guided to understanding.
