  • Same issue here.

    In 2.0.4, the grouped list worked, but recurring events did not show up.

    In 2.0.5, recurring events seem to show up again, but the grouped list is not working.

    Frustrating! I am now going to uninstall everything, install 2.0.3 (which was working fine for us), and reconfigure all the feeds from scratch.

    Any luck with this in the latest version (2.0.6)?

    Just bumping this thread. Let me know if you guys are still having trouble with this after the more recent releases.

    Thanks

    I am still having this same issue on 2.0.6.2.

    Whether I set the display type in the shortcode or on the feed preferences, the only one that works is GRID.

    Can you possibly send me a link to your site so I can check it out?

    Same issue for me. In the widget area (not tested in other part), only grid is shown. https://blog.topmusic.ch

    I forgot… using version Version 2.0.6.2 on WP4.0

    So you are saying that this won’t work?

    [gcal id=”242475″ display=”list”]

    [gcal id=”242475″ display=”grouped-list”]

    We also just pushed out 2.0.7, so let me know if that helps with it.

    Thanks

    With 2.0.7, there’s progress! I can get the grouped-list to “work”, but it is displaying differently:

    In the past events from the various feeds would display on the page without having the BACK and NEXT buttons to go week by week.

    Currently there are no events in my feeds for the next 2 weeks, so the user would have to click NEXT twice before they see any events. In the past, I could have sworn all the events within x # of days show up on a single page. Hopefully I’m just missing a simple setting somewhere?

    Ultimately, how do I get rid of the Back and Next buttons so that all events show up by default?

    Thanks for the continued work and help!

    I have those active events :
    A=from Oct 24th to Nov 3rd, all day long
    B=Oct 31th at 8:30PM
    C=Nov 1st at 8:00PM
    D=Nov 8th at 8:00PM
    E=Nov 16th at 5:30PM

    What’s work for me with 2.7.0 today (Oct 29th) :
    Widget Grid display : all OK
    Widget grouped-list : A not displayed
    Widget list : A not displayed

    in a page :
    [gcal id=”xxx” display=”grid”] : all OK
    [gcal id=”xxx” display=”grouped-list”] : A not displayed
    [gcal id=”xxx” display=”list”] : A not displayed

    Thanks for your effort !

    I too get this issue, only the Grid display is working (It’s the one I want to use, although a user toggle to switch from grid to list might be a nice feature request. I have tried telling it to use a list via the short code and by the plugin settings, but I just get a blank result when using anything other than grid.

    To add a bit more help in troubleshooting…here are some screen shots of what my site looks like with the grouped-list type attribute.

    Short Code Screen Shot

    Current Week Screen Shot (and any week that doesn’t have events)

    After clicking through to a week with events, the following shows up: (the width of the content area reduces each time I click NEXT…I’ll check the CSS; can’t remember if I modified that)

    A page with Events! Screen Shot

    @topmusic

    It looks like your “A” Event is a multi-day event. Do you have the option checked to show the multi-day events in the feed settings?

    @karenkrate

    There is an option in the feed settings to change the way the events are displayed. You can change the number of days to display events for or just the number of events coming up. You can also turn the paging navigation links off there as well.

    All of the shortcodes will take the settings that you have saved in the feed settings, so it might be working properly depending on how many events you have if you haven’t altered any of the settings.

    I would start with tweaking those feed options and see what works best for you.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi,
    I’m having a similar issue, when I use display=”list” it tells me I have no events to see, yet when I use the shortcode with no displays it shows me the grid with the selected event as it should… Furthermore an old feed (created a couple weeks ago) has the display=”list” working fine as well as the grid. So I guess I’m missing an option somewhere, but I just cannot find it.
    Can anyone help please?
    Thanks.
