Display Listings Uneven size

Hi,

1. The listing block height depends on it’s content, e.g. if there are different title length the height may be different because there will be different number of text rows. Please try uploading bigger images for listings (at least 400×300), then images will be 100% cropped to the same size.

2. Please try sorting or re-uploading an image, HivePress should set the first image as the Featured one automatically.

Sometimes im confronted with the same issue. I’m suggesting this: Let’s say 20 words is the standard of any title in a listing, if there is a listing with a 30 word title, it means both listings will be uneven . So why not try to create a mechanism that will only add some full stop (….) on the listing with 30 words title (I mean the … will start when the 30 words title reaches 17 words)

I think the problem will be completly solved if you update the Listinghive and apply my suggestion.

Thanks, we’ll consider using this method. It may be possible already but requires a CSS snippet, to limit the description height and add “text-overflow:ellipsis” rule https://css-tricks.com/snippets/css/truncate-string-with-ellipsis/ The same would be required for other text details though (title, text attributes, etc).
