Display <code> plugin for wp 2.0?

Hi Guys,
I’ve tried a bounch of different plugins, enabling me to use the
tag. But i've run out of options, none of them allows me to display code propperly, and my WP keep changing the places i start and close the, even thou ive disabled correct xhtml and that other rich editor. But somehow the WP keeps on removing myto some place else, then where i putted it…Please help me out, im unable to continue with my projekt untill it works…
