Display Moderation Message

Already a feature in 1.8

People can see that their topic has been posted (but cannot edit), others can see the topic title (with the tag awaiting moderation) but cannot view the topic. Logged in admin users can even trash the post in the frontend (rather than the admin backend) just by entering the post and clicking spam.

Checkout the new bbPress Moderation Settings (under the Settings menu) and enable

"Display pending posts on forums [Y] Always display"

Now all posts are displayed by default (rather than the plugin default of HIDE)

If you are not on version 1.8 please update to obtain this feature

Just want to say, Will it be better if the admin and the user who posted it will be the only one to see the topic posted?
It’s kind of awkward when people see the post saying awaiting for moderation and yet they can’t access it.
I am hoping for your kind response soon.

PS. I am currently using your plugin but what I said above made me think it’s kind of awkward. Thanks!

I agree with mariz_p on this, the option to show/not show pending posts is useless like this.

It just gives the idea to the poster that his post did not come through and maybe try again and again or never come back to the forum.

Also an Approve button would be nice. The bulk helps a little make not very handy.

You should replace pending posts with “Guest Post Pending… ”

In the other case (pending posts not shown)I agree with ronthai: Because no information for the poster comes that just gives the idea to the poster that his post did not come through and maybe try again and again or never come back to the forum.

Is the plugin still updated?
The developers are no longer accessible.
