Display Modification Date

As of version 0.9.9.6, the View Modification Date doesn’t seem to be displaying anything and the published date seems to default to 4 hours for some reason. The actual dates of the posts are correct but output shows a much older time.

Also, is the intended function of that checkbox to override the date to be the Updated date or to show both the Published date and the Updated date?

Any assistance with this would be great.
