Display more text from the post inside the gallery snippet

I activated astra theme on the gutenberg posts, and now the gutenberg block text no longer shows in the post snippet inside the gallery. I need astra so I don’t have to use the gutenberg default full-width theme.

It seems that no matter what I do to improve the structure of the post through either schema markup or a simple theme, it then breaks powerfolio’s ability to display text from the post.
