I searched for this problem but did not find a solution.

The display is as expected for Firefox but not IE. With IE the menu is not displayed; the items are listed. Also my content is not aligned. It appears the IE doesn’t recognise style.css I have a child theme inplace.

    Thanks for your help

  • I see exactly the same thing in IE v9, Firefox v17 and Chrome v23: a black horizontal menu with just one menu item “Home”

@franksplace2: IE is downloading the child’s stylesheet. What happens if you use the parent theme?

@esmi, take it easy, fella, or go get a cup of coffee. I’ve been here for 7 years, and I know the forum rules.

I’m not reporting a problem. I’m only responding to the OP’s request for help… just saying I checked the OP’s site in IE, Firefox and Chome, and I see the same thing (same menu)… though the OP seems to see different things between IE and Firefox.

Why must I start a offender topic to say that?

No but your post did not make it clear which site you were referring too.

Oh – and I’m female, thank you.

Try using Internet Explorer conditional tags to fix.

@franksplace2 your IE document mode is not correctly setup. Press F12 and change thee document mode to ‘IE 9 Standards’
