Sorry for not replying sooner Clifford, looks like I missed the notification. For your suggestion, would this be public facing, for logged in admins, or something else?

Also, in your mind do you see this being a lifetime counter or some set period, say clicks in the last month?

Discourse’s is public facing and lifetime and I think that’s cool but your ideas are great to have as customizable settings. Only reason not to do lifetime clicks in my mind is if it’s thousands of clicks, that’s noisy on the page – so maybe an abbreviation like “3k” or “104k” or “1M” – and then hover over it to see title attribute with actual count?

I would like to second this proposal.

In my case I would also prefer a public facing and lifetime solution. Since I’m not experiencing traffic in the multiple thousands range, I’m not afraid to experience some “noise” every once in a while. Which would only become visible once you refresh a page, right?

This wasn’t supposed to be released with 0.3.1, which just came out, but it got left in by accident. If you’d like to try it out, enable “Display click counts” under the Other tab of the plugin’s settings.

    Feedback welcome!

    I can’t tell if that’s awesome or concerning :p
I am not currently using this plugin but will now consider it.

It would have been in 0.3.2 but I didn’t choose the right option when preparing 0.3.1 so it snuck in before it was supposed to be released ??
