Display only search results – not categories

At the moment, search results are displaying on a page below the other categories. How can I just display the single product results without also showing the category thumbnails please?
I’d still like the Categories to show on my main shop page, so changing the settings under Shop Page Display doesn’t seem to work…https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/woocommerce-products-filter/
