Display only the child category in permalinks?

  • I currently have my permalinks setup as: /%category%/%postname%

    This displays the URL with both the parent and child categories:

    /parent-category/child-category/postname

    I would like instead to only display the URL with the child category so it looks like:

    /child-category/postname

    Is this possible?
