    Yes, you can use the pastdays attribute in your shortcode to change the start date. (It will still load with the current month displayed, but past months will be in the menu.)

    For instance to show 3 previous months, set pastdays="90". Note that by default the calendar shows one year, so setting this will cause it to end 9 months out instead of 12 months out. You can use limitdays to adjust that. The default value is limitdays="365" but you could change it to limitdays="455" to show 3 past months plus 12 future months.

    Month view automatically stretches the displayed dates to the first day of the earliest month and the last day of the latest month. List view limits to the exact number of days.
