Display playlist of latest 5 submissions for an artist?

Very useful plugin, but would like to know if possible how to display a playlist of the latest variable number of tracks from an artist. For example, I have the sets displayed that are parts of an album, but this particular artist creates new tracks on a fairly regular basis, and would like to create a listing of ‘Latest Creations’ that then has a playlist of the last 5 releases.
