display plugin version # in admin panel

    Hi guys, l’ve created a plugin and l have a need to display the version # inside of the wp-admin page for the plugin.

    Can anyone tell me how l would display this number as it’s shown on the plugin.php’s page?

    Got it:
    $plugin_data = get_plugin_data(/path/to/plugin.php);
