Display post shortcode and CoAuthors Plus – show multiple authors

    I love this plugin. However I do have one issue. Has anyone tried to use the shortcode and pull in coauthors? I’m using this shortcode to pull different posts into eNewsletter. It works great but only pulls in the first author.
    [display-posts id=”4535″ include_content=”true” include_author=”true” wrapper=”div”]
    I am using CoAuthors Plus for other areas of the site and for adding the coauthors in the blog post.

    I searched and found this solution:

    when i use:
    [display-posts id=”4535″ include_content=”true” include_author=”true” wrapper=”div”]
    it does pull in the coauthors but doesn’t pull content and looks broken. I think this solution is too complex. Is there something easier to just pull in multiple authors using display post shortcode and Co-Authors Plus?

    I’ve just now created the Co-Authors Plus Addon. Simply install the plugin and all your shortcodes will automatically support Co-Authors Plus.

    It also adds additional options in your shortcode for customizing the settings in Co-Authors Plus. See the plugin page for more information.

    Hi Bill,
    This is awesome! Thanks so much for the quick reply and plugin. This works but I do get an error in wordpress admin:
    Missing argument 2 for be_multiple_authors_in_dps() in /wp-content/plugins/dps-coauthor-addon-master/dps-coauthor-addon.php on line 29
    Not sure if I did something wrong. Any ideas on what is up. I’m no php expert.

    Try downloading the plugin again – I just fixed it.

    The default settings work with Display Posts Shortcode (DPS) as-is. But to add the additional parameters so that you can change things like the before text, after text, whether the author names are linked… I needed to make a change to DPS.

    Since I just released a new version of DPS a few days ago, I’m going to wait until I have some more features to publicly release a new version.
