Display Posts Page title on front end

  • I setup a Static Front Page?and a separate?Posts Page titled Blog.

    The problem is that on the Blog listing page the title of that page wont show on the front end. I have tried a lot of code, custom plugin, and id didnt work.

    How do I make this work. I appreciate any help.

    Hi @theinternetnerd,

    The problem is that on the Blog listing page the title of that page wont show on the front end. I have tried a lot of code, custom plugin, and id didnt work.

    What you’re describing is essentially what I’d expect as the default behaviour of the theme.

    In order to get the ‘Blog’ page title showing for that page – you’d likely need to create a child theme – which would then you let you add the title to the template for that Blog listing itself.
