Display posts – pagination and dps templates suddenly breaking site

Today my site is getting a critical error on website, which I’ve narrowed down to the display posts – pagination plugin and dps templates. If I add the pagination=”true” or layout=”large” in my shortcode it breaks the page. If I remove them everything works fine. I’ve gone through and deactivated all other plugins on the site and narrowed it down to this one. Is there a new issue that needs to be resolved? Please advise. Thank you.
