Display privacy policy & terms of use before login to via FB

You would click your App and then settings and it has fields for Terms and Privacy Policy… However if i’m not mistaken it will only show up during initial linking/approval and not for subsequent logins. Curious to see what author says.

You can specify the url of your terms and conditions page in Terms of Service URL option at Settings page in Facebook app developer dashboard. This will enable a terms and conditions link in the Facebook login dialog, when users login first time using Facebook at your website.

Hi, I actually have the link for Terms of Use and Privacy Policy url included in my FB developer under Settings > Basic and also went live under App Review > Make ‘app’ Public. However I can’t seem to get the additional screen where the privacy policy link is located. The only screen is the FB login popup which ask user for their username and password then they will be in right after login in(Image link below).

Any advice? Thanks!

As we mentioned above, the link to privacy policy OR terms will only appear in the screen, when users login first time using Facebook, where the Facebook app asks for permission to fetch basic profile details (something like – “This app would like to fetch your basic profile details and email address………….”).
You would like to try Facebook login using an account that you haven’t used before for Facebook login at your website.
