Display Projects in a List?

I’ve searched for this topic and couldn’t find anything, so I apologize if this does exist somewhere. I have a self-hosted site using Elegant Themes (Divi) and we use Projects a lot. We also use Divi’s Filtered Portfolio module. However that only lets you show the projects in a grid view.

I would like to have a simple list of projects in a particular category, just like blog’s “recent posts”, only for projects.

Is there a WP shortcode or a plugin out there that lets you show “recent projects” so I can show projects listed by category?
