    Hi.

I am running a shop with 2 languages. Swedish (default) and English. Default language use SEK as currency. The feed for this language works fine. For secondary language I use USD which is setup by WCML plugin.
I have tried everything, but the prices in the feed on displays the Swedish amount and adding USD as suffix to that price. How can I get the correct price for products in secondary language feed?

Hi @armbreakersweden , did you save seperate translated form of your products using WPML? If so, if you want the products to have price according to the language you choose, you have to assign the price manually within each products accordingly.

    Hi.

I use Swedish as the main language on the site and has assigned SEK for that language only. Secondary language is English and USD is assigned to that language only. All products is translated to English and all products have manual prices set in USD.
And still your plugin fetches the Swedish prices but with USD as prefix when I am using the translated feed (English). So everything except the prices is from the translated products.
Any idea how to solve this?

Hi, can you provide screenshots of the feed configurations you used and the links to the feeds you generated for each language?

    Thanks.

Hi @armbreakersweden , I was just following up to see if you go the solution to your issue.

    Do let me know. Thanks.

    Hi.

    Sorry for late reply.
Here is the feed for the products in default language (Swedish): https://www.armsportbutiken.se/wp-content/uploads/rex-feed/feed-4916.xml
    (Prices incl. tax)
    Screenshot of settings: https://i.imgur.com/0ttpTXG.jpg

And here is the (faulty) feed for products in secondary language (English): https://www.armsportstore.com/wp-content/uploads/rex-feed/feed-4922.xml
    (Prices excl. tax)
    Screenshot of settings: https://i.imgur.com/iNxPEn1.jpg

As you can see, the price in the feed for the translated products in English is having the Swedish prices with USD suffix. So the feed doesn’t fetch the prices in USD set for every product using WooCommerce Multilingual in the product settings.

And also I would like to add that it is really annoying that everytime I enter the feed settings for either the original feed or the translated feed there is a window asking if I would like to change language. And no matter which alternative I choose, it keeps popping up over and over again with some interval or when I save the feed settings…

Also noticed that the “<link>” below title is wrong on the feed for the secondary language. It is: <link>https://www.armsportbutiken.se/</link>
    but should be:
    <link>https://www.armsportstore.com/</link>

I use the built in feature in WPML to use one domain per language. So both URL’s above is the same installation and the same store. The language is the only difference.

Hi, are you using exchange rates from WPML for price variations on your site for different languages?

    Thread Starter Armsportstore.com

    (@armbreakersweden)

    Hi.

I am using manual exchange rate in WooCommerce Multilingual (WCML) which is used as default, to use other currencies. But due to problems with it in earlier versions, I have set manual prices in USD for all products. So the exchange rate set in WCML is only used for shipping rates and so on.
But I do not use automatic exchange rates if that is your question, that option is unchecked.
So in WCML I have set SEK for default language Swedish and USD for secondary language English.

By the way, WPML doesn’t have any currency settings at all as is without the WCML-plugin.

So basically you created two language versions of each product, in WooCommerce backend, and for each of them, you manually set prices. Am I correct?

    Thread Starter Armsportstore.com

    (@armbreakersweden)

    Yeah, exactly.
First created all products in default language Swedish. And then translated all products to English.
Price for each product set manually to SEK and USD (which is possible after installing WCML and enabling Multi-currency). BUT WCML works with currencies the way that you set both default currency price (SEK) and secondary currency (USD) on the main product in Swedish. These values are automatically copied to the translated product. So I don’t (can’t) set anything regarding the price on the translated product itself.
And in WCML I have set currencies to force USD to English only and SEK to Swedish only. So if the user switches languages, then the currency change too.

Enabled the feature different domain per language in WPML (don’t exactly know what the English name is on this feature, as everything is in Swedish on my install).
But using https://www.armsportbutiken.se for Swedish and https://www.armsportstore.com for English.

Thanks for the details. We are looking into it.

I will inform you here as soon as we find a proper solution for you.

@sultan00rextheme Very much appreciated. Using one Facebook page for the English store and can’t add any products to it for advertising and promotion, so if this could be fixed it would be highly appreciated. The Swedish feed to the Swedish Facebook page is working just fine. So looking forward to be using this for the English page too ??

Hi, I can see that when you switch languages, the domains are changing. Did you set it up from WPML or did you set it up through the server?

Also, can you provide us with the sites’ debug logs?

Email us the debug log file and let us take a look and then we might have a more clear picture.

    Thanks.

    Hi.

It’s a combination. I followed WPML’s guide to set this up, as it is a setting in WPML to have different domains for different languages. So the only thing I have done on the host setup is to create a domain pointer as alias, which together with WPML enables the possibility to have two different domains for the same install.

I don’t have any debug-logs and would prefer not to enable WP-debug, as this is a live site with customers/orders. So don’t want to mess to much with it.

Any other info I can provide?
