Display search result

  • When i click on a search result it opens a comments page instead of the result it self. For example when i search for a video and click on the result it opens the wordpress comments box

    Please is there anyway you can help me to resolve this?

    Can you point me to a URL where I can check this issue?
    Unfortunately I’m not able to re-create it, and I could not find any past tickets regarding a similar issue, so this is probably something unknown yet.

    Hi!

    The URLs seem to be correct to me. I’m not sure though if you have choosen the correct custom post types to search for. I belileve the ‘gmedia’ is probably not needed.

    If you for example go to this page, which is the archive page for the ‘gmedia’ custom post type: https://www.africq.com/gmedia/page/160/
    ..and click on the ‘Family Guy – Peter Becomes An Uber Driver’, it leads to the same template page as the search. This happens on all video type items as well.
    It means that the URL returned by wordpress is correct, but the theme files for the ‘gmedia’ archive page are probably not constructed correctly.

    Im not able to get around this issues, but if your able to find some suggestion i will be happy to try it.

    However, this is a great plugin, great support, i will do anything i can to use the plugin.
