display shortcode in custom meta field

Hello,

I’m having a problem displaying a shortcode in a custom meta box I’ve created on the front end of a site.

Currently, the shortcode entered in the custom meta text field prints to the front end.

Code using to get the shortcode to the front end:

<?php $meta = get_post_meta($post->ID, 'intSlider', true); ?>
   <div class="intSlider">
     <?php echo $meta; ?>
   </div>

Shortcode I’m entering in the text field – [nivoslider id=”24″]

How do I get the shortcode to generate correctly on the front end of the site?
