Display submenu itmes by default

Hi is there a way to set the display of submenu items to default as it looks a bit unclear when viewed, the small arrow on the right of main menu items is a bit outdated, as I would expect the submenu to appear automatic at “mouseover” as most other nav bars do… any idea how to set that up?
