    Hi there,

Trying to figure out my best approach here.

So I have 2 Custom Post Types (Products and Case Studies) . They both share a taxonomy (Industry). I am trying to build a “search by industry” list for each CPT (ie. “Search by Industry/ Product” & “Search by Industry/ Case Study”).

To Test, I have set the plugin up, selecting one CPT (case Study) and the taxonomy list (industries). The default result gives me a list of all the Case Studies that meet all the selected taxonomy terms. Instead I want the taxonomy list (Industries). When each industry is clicked you’d get the Archive page for those relevant case studies.

Any tips would be appreciated – Thanks!

    Hi Poocharo,

I’m not sure if I understand your issue completely or not. Let me see if I do:

You’re looking for a way to display a clickable list of terms from your Industries taxonomy that will then show the associated archive of posts (Case Studies)?

If that’s the case, FPW isn’t the right plugin/widget for you. Instead, you’d want to find a custom taxonomy widget such as the List Custom Taxonomy Widget. FPW just displays (custom) posts that meet a set of criteria such as having a specific taxonomy & term applied.

    Hopefully that helps.
