Display the number of comments in the latest posts block – grid or list

    Maybe this is a feature request, but I cannot see a way to get the number of comments to show in the latest posts block grid/list. You have implemented this for the default blog page in the customizer, functionality that would be very useful in the block options.

    Or is there an alternative way to add the number of comments by some other route?

    Hi,

    WordPress doesn’t include an option to display the number of comments in the Latest Posts block, and this isn’t something that can be implemented through our Twentig plugin. However, you might consider submitting a feature request to the WordPress Gutenberg repository: https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/new/choose
