    Hi @dv1961,

Thank you for reaching out to us for assistance. The video title should be overlayed over the thumbnail when you hover the mouse over it, but the feature to include the title and other information about the video below or to the side of the thumbnails is only included in the Pro version of the plugin (https://a.supportally.com/Y8jYBJ).

If I can help with any other questions or concerns, please let me know.

    Best regards,

    Louis

    ok, thanks, that’s clear.

One other thing, in some images of Feeds for Youtube the thumbnails have play buttons in the middle of the image, but on my site they don’t. Clicking on the thumbnail opens a larger image which in turn links to youtube. Is the play button part of pro as well? Is there a way of having a mini-player rather than a thumbnail?
    Thanks

    Hi @dv1961,

The play button and allowing the videos to play directly on your page are included in the free version. To ensure the play button appears, please go to WordPress Dashboard > YouTube Feed > Customize > Layout, and in the Show/Hide section make sure that Play Icon is enabled. If you have the include property in your shortcode, you could either remove this or set it to include=”icon” .

Regarding the videos linking to YouTube instead of playing directly on your site, could you send us a support request here and include the System Info from the Support tab of the plugin, as well as a link to the page where the feed is being displayed? This will allow us to better investigate this issue for you.

    Best regards,

    Louis

The play icon is there now, but still the same issue with larger image linking to youtube being the only option. I’ll move the support request to smash balloon.
