Thanks. I DID have it set to Post-Name so did more checking. If I click on a category, then a title, it is fine. But if I edit then click visit site, it is /?p=23

    Normal?

Can we have a link to the site?

You can in private! I’d prefer not to post publicly.

I’m sorry but I only provide email support to paying clients.

Well, I won’t post an adult content blog URL here. Is there anyone else who is willing to help me here without my publicly giving out the URL?

Posting an adult content blog URL here shouldn’t be a problem. We’re all adults and I can modify the topic title to warn anyone who might be reading at work or with minors around.

I was warned before and will not post an adult URL again

I don’t know the specifics of that warning but all we do ask is that you flag any adult sites up with a warning. Ideally using [NSFW] in the topic title (which is the edit that I can make for you).

Nope. Anyone else who knows why the appearance differs?

(it’s not you, esmi, I just don’t want it published)

I understand but it’s really difficult trying to troubleshoot issues blind. Are the urls listed in Settings -> General the same as those used in single posts (ie /?p=23)?

    Yes, www,domain.com

Are you using any kind of domain forwarding on this site? Or is the domain fully mapped to the site?

Just a normal domain with its own name, no forwarding, nothing unusual, set up like my 4 other blogs.

I know something is configured wrong but just now decided to check other blogs’ settings. Checked one, same settings so went to test … and now IT IS FINE! I tested it several times while typing this and it always has the title, not post number.

Either it was cached or …. thank you for your help. I know I wasn’t as helpful as you’d have liked but the site is a personal blog with adult content and links. It’s better to be safe than sorry!

No problem. Glad to hear that it’s working properly now. ??
