Display Totals per participant & general total

Hi,

Is there a way I can:

1. Apply post title (in this case, a volunteer’s name) to a donation? (OK if I need to use post ID since volunteer pages are essentially custom post types )
2. Show total donations & # of donations per post/volunteer on that post/volunteer page
3. Show total donations globally on a general page (like the Home page)?
4. On general page (like Home page) show a loop of that custom post type for most recent or biggest donations per post/volunteer?

In the course of my research I was directed to this set of snippets, but I couldn’t see how it would help me.

Any help would be appreciated.
