Display two most recent posts outside the loop – REWARDED

  • Basically I have a blog which I’ve been trying to find code for, its taken me so long and i just can’t find anything.

    My problem is that i want to use the theme called classico but the posts have thumbnails so they are just a preview. I want two posts to be displayed above this out of the loop where you can see the content without having to click into a post.

    I’ve made preview of what i want the site to look like and attached the image here.

    In short – I want a theme that uses thumbnail previews for posts, but above I want the two most recent posts visable without having to click into them.

    Any help will be appreciated and I am more than happy to give someone a bit of money for help.
