• Hi,

I use the Virtue Theme and the following shortcode to display Posts and current QEM Events on my homepage: [kad_blog orderby=date items=4 fullpost=false cat=current]. The problem is, that QEM Events are triggered when they are created and not when they occur. Can that be changed? It means that I cannot show current upcoming events in the correct date order.

Clarification: the test bug occurs when Category ‘current’ is collected both from Posts and from QEM Events.

Use the setting under the settings tab.

Note that this won’t work retrospectively – but you can use ‘quick edit’ manually on existing events to change the publication date to event date

This Setting is already in use. Maybe it’s a problem with the Virtue Theme and how they order my posts and qem events…

    Thank you,

OK that sounds strange but as Vritue is premium theme it isn’t something we can help with. If your events in the Events list are showing correct publication date sequence perhaps you can ask the Kadence WP pro support you would be paying for?
