Display Uploaded Image on Form

  • Hello, I’ve created an entry form for a photography contest and am quite happy with it. It’s using the CF7 file upload function for photo submissions and I’m sending them in an email and using Contact Form DB plugin to store in the WP backend.

    The only thing lacking that I’d really like to have, is for an ajax-like solution to take the file upload (image) and display it right in the form prior to it being submitted, so that the end user knows they have selected the correct image, and can see it before they submit the form.

    I have not been able to find a prepackaged solution for this…was wondering if anyone here had ideas or had seen this capability elsewhere.

    @ C4talyst: I have installed the CF7 DB plugin in the hopes of being able to save files uploaded via CF7 in the WP backend, as you’ve described you are doing…but can’t figure out how to do it. Any advice?
