Display URL to an uploaded file/image/media field

    I have a regular CPT (Test Results) that has a field for uploading a PDF for each post. I would like to display the URL to that uploaded file in the admin area in Test Results > All Test Results. I use Admin Columns to manage what the users see in the back-end but it doesn’t pick up this field. It’s the URL you see when you go into the Media Library and click on the file, but that’s a little cumbersome and we’d like a quick global overview of all the uploaded Test Result PDFs. Any suggestions? I’m thinking another field in the CPT that picks up the URL from the file field, a relationship or something…

    Unfortunately, this isn’t an option in Admin Columns to show the URL/Permalink of the file. When you add the column as a Custom Field and select the type of field as Relation/Media, that only gives you image size options.

    You can reach out to their support to give you the ability for this, but that’s really outside our control, since you’re interfacing with their plugin. They are very helpful folks, though, and you’re probably not the only one that has asked for the URL to the media to be displayed.
