I have a user field of type “file”, for members to upload a profile picture. I tried using the pmpro_member shortcode to display this field on the member account page. It didn’t work, the output was “array”. Is there a way to use the shortcode to display it as an image?
    Thanks.

    Hello @tnightingale,
Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro!

You will need a 3rd party plugin to upload a user avatar.
Here is a post on the subject.

OK I’ll give it a try. We also need to use this field in an E2PDF template – will it still be available in the field list?

    Hello,

It may depend on which plugin you use.
The Basic User Avatar will add the image link to the usermeta table with the meta key basic_user_avatar.

Membership services are in dev phase. Created ID Card using E2PDF but had membership pro running at first, and used custom fields Photo and Autograph. Files uploaded and displayed. PDF was printable in full. We switched to PMPro. Cleaned database first. E2PDF displays mepr_ fields but we do not use them. We use pmpro_ and pods_ fields. WP. PMPro. PODS. Some Pmpro fields show but no image files will. Tried PMPro custom fields first.
