Display variations in product details and product category

Hi

I am making a site that sells office supplies and it’s important to be able to display color variations without having to click it and view product details.

I used a plugin called Visual Attributes by QueryLoop. It did the job pretty well but it doesn’t show color variations in the product category page, and isn’t supported anymore.

Any plugin recommendation or hack is highly appreciated
