display widget as a page

  • Hi,

    I’m trying to set up a custom page that is completetly blank except for 1 widget. I would like to take the widget’s code and put that onto the full page.
    The widget/plugin in question is the kb advanced rss widget.
    The end result would be my news feeds, taking up the full width of the screen, with no other content.

    Can anyone tell me how to go about this?

    For info, I’ve installed the inline PHP plugin, then added a require with an absolute path to the KB advanced widget plugin’s php. The page remains blank. The PHP is being run as I tested it with an echo.

    I’ve also tried copying the widget’s php to the theme folder and defining it as a template. If I change my page to that template I again get a blank page but this time the sidebar fails to load.

    Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated ??
