Display with thumbnail and countdown

Hi there,

We are currently making a new version of this website since the other one is not working anymore (still visible live but backend is ruined).
We would like to display the events (again) as the are now: an thumbnail (from the highlighted image) and then next to it a countdown.
This section can be found at the middle of the current homepage.

Could you please help us with the shortcode?
