I’ve got a small network of sites created with multisite and each contains primarily content in the form of a custom post type. I want to display a list of these on my main blog, but all the plugins I’ve found some far (Diamond, Multsite Widget, Sitewide Tags, etc) only aim at posts, not custom posts types. Plus overall I’d prefer getting away without a plugin if possible.

Is there any way to query custom post types across all my multisite instances?

I’m an idiot. Taking one of these existing plugins and searching for “post_type” then changing it to my custom post type seems to do the trick just fine.

    Carry on.

    Hey Clark!

I’ve had the same problem – but using Custom Post Types UI and ThreeWP Broadcast to aggregate the content to one site.

I might sound like a dork for this, but please elaborate your method – this is the best bite i’ve had in solving my problem.

By the way, I have multiple custom post types..
