Displaying a post within a specific category, but not in the main post listing

  • I would like to add a Webmaster Updates category, but not have posts within that category display in the main post display. I just want webmaster posts to appear in the Webmaster Updates category.

    Is there a way to do this using the base wordpress install OR via a plugin?
