Displaying Alt Title under image not working with WP 4.4

    @guy Scharf – Updating to WordPress 4.4 would not have changed any Lightbox Effect in NextGEN Gallery although that does not mean to say it has not affected a Lightbox library that is being used with NextGEN Gallery from another source.

    Have you tried other Lightbox Effects bundled with NextGEN Gallery (as a convenience), perhaps a setting did get changed somewhere and you need to get back to what you were using. As it is, there is no specific bundled Lightbox that by default would show the Alt&Title field.

    @cais – Thank you, you are correct. The problem was related to another plugin, Easy Fancybox, that had been deactivated at the same time as upgrading to WordPress 4.4.
