Displaying Author Post Link in archive.php

thanks for the reply esmi. but on the page you linked, it says i should use the_author_posts_link() and i actually use it but it returns nothing. what might be the problem?

Sorry. <?php the_author_posts_link(); ?> should work. It does in my themes.

Perhaps you’re not using it within the Loop? Drop a copy of the file into the WordPress pastebin and post the pastebin url here. Perhaps someone will be able to spot the problem and suggest a solution.

Because it’s not within the Loop.

I tried to create the Loop but couldnt make it work either. How should i do it?
