  • Names shown where? On the post? In a list on the side? Yes, all of that can be done, depending upon the templates you are using.

    Could you be a little more specific?

    You can display the author’s name on the post by using author template tags (there are different ones, choose the one that suits you best).

    You have author pages, which are /author/name/ (replace name with the author’s name), and if you don’t have permalinks, it’s /?author=id (replace id with author’s ID).

    I’d like the authors’ name to be seen on the posts. Which file should i edit?

    I put the code into single.php of my current template and the name does show up, but I can’t find any message on author pages. (eg. https://www.transfun.net/blog/?author=vera)
